Parallels with the past

With the tearing down of statues and the "cancelling" of books, tv shows, monuments and music, the unhinged Left has fully begun to rewrite history and create a disingenuous record of the past. They are emboldened by our continued silence and willingness to sit idly by and allow the record of previous world events (good, bad or indifferent) to be extinguished. Our history is under attack from multiple fronts and consequently, so is our future.

Prior attacks have often been subtle and incremental and may have taken decades to infiltrate and co-opt institutions. Now that they are in control they are bold, direct and going for broke. This list illustrates some of what they have "achieved":

1. The takeover of the education system with college campuses unashamedly being the harbinger of the Lefts tyrannical march towards socialism and the imminent fall of the United States of America as we know it.
2. The main stream and social media orchestrate the flow of information dictating what our search results feed us.
3. The exploitation of the pandemic with unconstitutional vaccine mandates and forced business closures while allowing thousands of unvaccinated individuals cross the southern border unhindered.
4. The unconstrained and unsustainable government spending.
5. The negligent and poorly executed withdrawal from Afghanistan leaving unfathomable amounts of state of the art military hardware in the hands of global terrorists that will surely place the western world at future risk from terrorist attack.
6. FBI now attending school board meetings.
7. Critical Race Theory appearing in kindergarten literature.

They are not just in control; they are unquestionably out of control.

There is a lot to be learned about our future from comparisons of the past with the present:

Nazism is socialism

Germany 1921 - Hitler is able to become chairman of his party, which is renamed the National Socialist German Workers' Party, or NSDAP. The party's manifesto, it's political foundation, was co-authored by Hitler and included the following statements

"The state is to be responsible for a fundamental reconstruction of our whole national education program, to enable every capable and industrious German to obtain higher education and subsequently introduction into leading positions"

"We demand struggle without consideration against those whose activity is injurious to the general interest"

"We demand legal opposition to known lies and their promulgation through the press. Publications which are counter to the general good are to be forbidden. We demand legal prosecution of artistic and literary forms which exert a destructive influence on our national life, and the closure of organizations opposing the above made demands"

"The activity of individuals is not to counteract the interests of the universality, but must have its result within the framework of the whole for the benefit of all"

"We demand the nationalization of all (previous) associated industries"

"We demand an expansion on a large scale of old age welfare"

"For the execution of all of this we demand the formation of a strong central power in the Reich. Unlimited authority of the central parliament over the whole Reich and its organizations in general"

USA – The term Social Democrat becomes popular being promulgated by the likes of Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, both of whom promote free higher education and nationalized healthcare. Socialist doctrine rotates around a centralized government responsible for nationalizing healthcare, education, and the welfare state. The main stream media already conduct themselves like an extension of central government silencing anyone who dares to exert their first amendment right to free speech. Multi-millionaire and Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi's speech during a visit to the UK assailed capitalism stating "In America, capitalism is our system, it is our economic system, but it has not served our economy as well as it should."

A country divided

Germany 1922 - Mussolini manages to turn division into an invitation to run the Italian government by provoking the disenchantment felt by the middle class towards the old political elite and system. Hitler notes his success as Mussolini's Black Shirts rise to power.

USA – The left continues their drive to divide the country with the aid of groups like Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Planned Parenthood over issues of race, religion, immigration, income inequality and abortion etc. Politicians recognize that once the public enter the tribal mindset of one group versus another they are more emotional, consequently less logical and hence easier to coerce. Division serves the politician.

Circumventing government

Germany 1930 – President Hindenburg, tired of a divided Reichstag and their inability to come to a consensus, became an avid user of ruling by Article 48 decrees invoking them sixty times in 1932 alone. Article 48 of the Constitution of the Weimar Republic of Germany allowed the President to take action, without consent of the Reichstag, as a solution for national emergencies. Hitler himself was to make use of this precedent in the coming months.

USA – Biden has already signed over sixty-one executive orders, thirty of which were in the first five days. Here are some of them:

A people disarmed

Germany 1930s – Hitler uses the gun control laws (which were sufficiently discretionary) previously adopted by the Weimar Republic to keep weapons out of the hands of his enemies. In 1931 the Weimar Republic assembled a Federal Gun Registry. In 1933, Hitler's National Socialist German Workers Party seized power and used the records to identify, disarm and attack political opponents and Jews. For the next five years' gun licenses were revoked, search and seizure ensued and undesirables were placed in labor camps.

USA – Beto O'Rourke responded in a September 13 2019 speech when asked if he was proposing to take away their guns by saying "Hell, yes, we're going to take away your AR-15, your AK-47". Biden said on June 23^rd 2021 "No one needs to have a weapon that can fire over 30, 40, 50, even up to 100 rounds, unless you think the deer are wearing Kevlar vests or something," On April 22^nd 2019 Harris stated "Upon being elected, I will give the United States Congress a hundred days to get their act together and have the courage to pass reasonable gun safety laws. If they fail to do it, then I will take executive action." Pelosi told reporters in Oct 2019 that "Democrats were bound and determined to pass gun control legislation, regardless of how long it takes, regardless of what else is taking place in the political world, regardless of how many stones Second Amendment supporters throw into the way."

Never let a crisis go to waste

Germany 1933 – Citing the attack on the Reichstag as evidence of a mass communist movement, Hitler urged President Hindenburg to pass a law ending civil liberties in Germany. The Reichstag was an arson attack on the Reichstag building, home of the German parliament in Berlin, on Monday 27 February 1933. A Dutch Council Communist called Van Der Lubbe was arrested along with four other communist leaders. Hitler urged President Paul von Hindenburg to issue an emergency decree to suspend civil liberties and pursue a "ruthless confrontation" with the Communist Party of Germany. The decree abolished freedom of speech, assembly and suspended the autonomy of federated states. That same night the government instituted mass arrests including all of the Communist Party's parliamentary delegates. With their bitter rival communists gone and their seats empty, the Nazi Party went from having a plurality to a majority, thus enabling Hitler to consolidate his power.

USA – Jan 6^th 2021. In the wake of the incident at the Capitol the Biden administration employed a campaign of persecution and weaponized powerful federal agencies against regular Americans who dared, not just to vote for Donald Trump, but also to doubt the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election. Mirroring Hitler, the Biden administration in July 2021 released a new dossier for confronting "domestic terrorism". This "National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism" designates "domestic violent extremism as a national priority" and warns against "anti-government sentiment," and what it may perceive to be "incitement" toward such violence. It has the appearance of "a fascist document" that "reads like a manual for targeting the administration's political opponents)".

Julie Kelly, a senior contributor for American Greatness reports: The Department of Justice (DOJ) has arrested and continues to hold hundreds of "political prisoners" in a dedicated jail under "harsh almost solitary confinement conditions" while denying them bail and the constitutional right of a speedy trial. Calling it "political persecution against Trump supporters," Kelly says that the FBI continues to be on a "nationwide manhunt to find and arrest anyone who participated in the January 6 protest, including those who did nothing more than allegedly trespass on public property."

Further supporting of the accusation of a campaign of political persecution is the case of Bruno Cua, an eighteen-year-old who attended the rally and entered the Capitol building. He was later arrested, held in custody for two months without bail, despite his not being accused of vandalism, violence, or theft. In the spring of 2020 the very same DC Attorney's office cut a plea deal with a couple of teenage girls who carjacked an Uber Eats driver and murdered him in the process. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), when expressing her concern over the two-track justice system, observed "if you are part of the Democrat-sponsored domestic terrorist organizations BLM and Antifa, you can burn down American cities for an entire year, get bailed out of jail, and face no investigation or commission from Congress."

Government control of the media

Germany 1933 – with elections looming and the Reichstag in flames, Hitler introduces censorship and begins controlling the message. As part of the abolition of all civil liberties, Hitler eradicates privacy and the press, legalizes phone tapping and interception of correspondence. It became illegal to criticize the government, newspapers were closed or taken over, control exerted over the content of newspapers, radio and newsreels, "unsavory" books were banned or burned and they controlled what soldiers wrote home about. The Nazi propaganda machine:

• Glorified Adolf Hitler by using his image on postcards, posters, and in the press
• Spread negative images and ideas about the enemy in magazines, films, cartoons, and other media
• Made radios more affordable so that more Germans could listen to Nazi ideas and news;
• Broadcast Nazi speeches on the radio and public loudspeakers;
• Organized large and celebratory Nazi Party rallies;
• Removed text books from classrooms replacing them with ones chosen to convey the message – censorship and propaganda working in unison.

USA – Social media sites (Twitter, Facebook etc) act as an extension of the left in silencing opposition and the cancel culture is prolific in attempting to close down anything and anyone with an opinion that differs from theirs. President Trump was banned from both Facebook and Twitter due to his differing opinions. Facebook banned 1.3 billion accounts over a three-month period between October and December 2020. Chase bank closed Michael Flynns credit card account. The main stream media is "in bed" with the government and aids in promoting them while nullifying any opposition. Search engines promulgate only that which they wish you to see and Obamaphones, free to the masses, act as a conduit for receipt of such propaganda. As parents begin to find a voice over concerns of classroom educational content, the Biden administration not only makes public statements against them but activates the FBI to "sit in" on PTA meetings in an attempt to intimidate concerned parents into silence. A plan to significantly increase the IRS will bring about a level of government intrusion into personal banking never before seen.

Democracy ends, dictatorship begins

Germany 1933 - Parliament passes the Enabling Act giving Hitler complete and absolute power over Germany. Prior to the presentation of the legislation to Parliament, Hitler knew he needed a two-thirds majority for it to pass; he therefore set about negotiating with leaders of the center party promising he would respect their rights and freedoms. He enticed them to vote for the Act by assuring the following:

1. The state governments would continue to function
2. Church schools could continue to operate
3. The concordats already in force with the German states of Prussia, Bavaria, and Baden would be honored
4. Judges would remain inviolable
5. The parliament would continue to exist
6. The president's rights would continue unmolested.

The promises helped secure the Center Party's votes for the Enabling Act. Unfortunately for the Center Party, Hitler would use the power they bestowed on him to violate every one of these promises.

USA – The Left threaten to remove the senate filibuster paving the way for dictatorial rule. The only thing maintaining any form of balance within the current government is the filibuster. Biden and the Democratic party, just like Hitler and Hindenburg, are desperate for total control of government and hence the country. There would be no obstacles to them passing any legislation they chose having control of the house, the senate and the Presidency and enforcing them with a newly created federal police force. Voting legislation, vaccine mandates, immigration laws, tax regulations, population reduction measures and a rewrite or abolition of the constitution would all become a reality.

Democrats used the Supreme Court to make policy when they couldn't pass their legislative agenda. That all stopped in 2017 with the court flipping conservative under President Trump. During 2020, Democrats have had numerous temper tantrums during which the threat to pack the court has been revived. Sen Blumenthal (RI) said in May 2020 "if the high court makes conservative decisions in controversial cases, it will drive the effort to expand the court."

He added that if the Democrats can't pack the Supreme Court, "they would consider other means to reform it." The Supreme Court poses a threat to their radical Leftist agenda, they know it and are desperate to find a way to maintain total authoritarian control.

Wasteful spending

Germany – Hitler was investing heavily in the German war machine and the social services needed to keep the population on his side. He began by imposing a twenty percent tax on the German Jews promptly followed by the nationalization of all property owned by them. More money was required and a fifty percent surtax was imposed on German groups. Realizing this would prove unpopular, he promised they wouldn't have to pay it if the military were to successfully conquer and plunder other countries.

USA – Biden signs the $1.9T Covid Relief Bill. The bill will spend less than 9% on covid relief while the so called Infrastructure Bill spends less than 6% on infrasructure. The rest goes to wasteful progressive demands, bailouts for blue states, planned parenthood, radical environmentalists, and job-killing regulations. It's a political payoff by Democrats for the Democrats.

False flag operations

Germany 1939 - The Nazi regime staged a border incident designed to make it appear that Poland initiated hostilities. On August 31, 1939, SS men dressed in Polish army uniforms "attacked" a German radio station at Gleiwitz.

USA – Governor Whitmer kidnapping case. The FBI, through informants and undercover agents, hatched the kidnapping plot, served in the key leadership positions of the militia group, trained the militia members in military tactics, actively recruited participants, and funded much of the militia's activities. Then, when various members of the Watchman militia became uncomfortable with the kidnapping plot, with several quitting, the FBI's primary informant pushed the plot along, eventually becoming the militia group's leader.

Jan 6^th 2021 A Revolver News report based on government documents suggest the Capitol riot have been planned and orchestrated by the FBI using agent provocateurs to harness the energy of the crowds and redirect it to their own ends. J. Michael Waller, a senior analyst for the Center for Security Policy who specializes in "propaganda, political warfare, psychological warfare, and subversion," was present in the crowd as it processed to the Capitol and wrote how the "deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol bore the markings of an organized operation planned well in advance of the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress." He describes the activities of "four separate cells or units" on the scene including "Plainclothes militants," "Agents-provocateurs," "Fake Trump protesters," and a "Disciplined, uniformed column of attackers."

"All of these cells or groups stood out from the very large crowd by their behavior and overall demeanor," Waller explained. "However, they did not all appear at the same time. Not until the very end did it appear there was a prearranged plan to storm the Capitol building, and to manipulate the unsuspecting crowd as cover and as a follow-on force."

The government documents referred to by Revolver News, discuss persons who were known to be present inside the Capital and participants in storming the barricade, but have not been prosecuted, while those who stood alongside them were. These are referred to as "unindicted co-conspirators". The government knows who they are and knows they were the leaders, but has not charged them, forcing many to conclude that they were FBI operatives.

The author of the book titled The Terror Factory, "analyzed every terror prosecution from 2001 to 2013 … [and] found that at least 50 defendants were on trial because of behavior that the FBI had not only encouraged, but enabled."

There are a disturbing number of crystal clear parallels with history which should be of grave concern. The model exemplified above has been successful in transforming many healthy, economically prosperous, free countries into poverty stricken, crime ridden hellholes ruled by a power crazy "jackbooted" tyrannical government bent on total domination over every aspect of the lives of its populous. How many more examples do we need to see before we see what's happening, before we say "enough", before we say "I need to do something". It's decision time for We, the people. Do you intend to sit or Stand Tall?
